If you've tried our fish before you'll know that it has a signature smokey flavour. That's because it's cooked in our Mibrasa oven - a coal-fired beast that harnesses the power of red hot coals to impart a delicate but delicious charred taste.
It takes tremendous skill to master the Mibrasa, and it's a feat not for the faint of heart. Usually reserved only for Michelin star restaurants, at Salmon & Bear we've got the only Mibrasa oven on the North Shore. Over the course of the evening, our chef’s will be showing off their passion for the flame, with a curated menu to make the most of the Mibrasa.
Prep your tastebuds for dishes such as a charred blue mackerel with burnt onion petals, cucumber and horseradish mayo, and whole grilled butterflied rainbow trout with seaweed butter potatoes and chargrilled peas.
